Our Story
Our family's journey with Honey Bee Outdoor™ began with a personal treasure: a vintage grape harvesting bucket that sat on our front porch. It wasn't just a planter, it was the centerpiece of our porch, inspiring countless memories. When it eventually rusted away, we were heartbroken to find that nothing on the market had its same unique vintage charm.
Instead of giving up, our family took on a new mission. We were determined to create planters that not only captured the elegance of vintage designs but were also built to last. To perfect our plan, we brought on an engineer from Georgia Tech to help us develop the exact specifications and determine the right type of protective coatings to ensure our planters would be durable and rust-resistant.
By 2020, we had our designs perfected and were ready to launch our business. But like so many others, our plans were put on hold by the COVID-19 pandemic, shutting us down before we could even start.
However, we never lost our passion or our commitment. We used the time to perfect our process, and in 2024, we proudly launched Honey Bee Outdoor™ from Roswell, GA. Every planter we create is a testament to our family's perseverance and a celebration of lasting craftsmanship.

Our original specifications were developed with the help of a Georgia Tech–trained engineer to ensure proper proportions, balance, drainage, and durability — so each planter looks beautiful and performs outdoors season after season.
